Upcoming TXDOT Workshops in Permian & Victoria

Texas Transportation Commission (commission) Chairman Tryon Lewis will be hosting a workshop for energy impacted areas in Victoria and Midland next month.  We are inviting officials from counties, cities, regional transportation authorities and energy industry representatives and state/congressional elected officials impacted by the Eagle Ford and Permian Basin.  Additional, we are inviting Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Railroad Commission to attend.

The purpose is to discuss and receive feedback on Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) Energy Sector Corridor Improvement Program.  TxDOT has identified $1.8 billion in the priority funding needs within the state’s energy area and have prioritize projects on major corridors. This need has been previously discussed by the commission during the March and May monthly meetings. Click here for presentation.
