TXOGA Workers’ Compensation Safety Group Announces TXOGA Safety Talks Initiative

AUSTIN – The Texas Oil & Gas Association (TXOGA) Workers’ Compensation Safety Group recently launched a new safety initiative, TXOGA Safety Talks, a bi-monthly email newsletter that provides helpful safety tips and discussion questions to TXOGA members and those participating in the Safety Group for their workplace safety meetings.

“Safety in the workplace is everyone’s responsibility,” said TXOGA President Todd Staples. “TXOGA Safety Talks is a benefit for TXOGA members and Safety Group participants to help them adhere to high standards for workplace safety within the industry and ensure that Texas’ natural resources continue to be produced responsibly for years to come.”

Managing Traffic Flow Around Drilling Sites
Safe Driving Practices in the Oilfield
Driver Fatigue Prevention Strategies
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Guidelines

Companies who are members of the TXOGA Safety Group with Texas Mutual also receive an up-front premium discount of 12.4% and the possibility of receiving Texas Mutual individual policyholder dividends and safety group dividends (dividends are based on performance and are not guaranteed).

TXOGA Safety Group participants recently received $3,846,290 in safety group dividends and $27,362,579 in Texas Mutual individual policyholder dividends.
